Instructional Technology Basics

WCC uses Canvas as it's DE Learning Platform. All courses at WCC are automatically generated a Canvas Shell to create their course. All DE courses will rely heavily on this tool so we recommend becoming familiar with it if you are not. A Canvas template has been created for your use if you need a "shell" to start from. See below for links to information on Canvas, the "shell" and how to use it.

Within Canvas there are specific Learning tools to enhance your teaching available to you. Canvas Studio is one of the most useful as you can create videos quickly inside your course. All LTI's are limited by funding from the state or district and do come and go. See below for links to current LTI's available.
