Session Description & Recording

Following a Spring 2024 pilot of Harmonize as an LTI for discussions (and more) in Canvas, the district is purchasing a 1-year subscription to allow for broader adoption and gather additional faculty and student feedback. Harmonize allows for graded and non-graded discussions, polls, and social annotation assignments. Set up multiple due dates to encourage early and sustained engagement and try out the embedded Generative AI tools for creating robust prompts and rubrics. Harmonize also allows for Turnitin Integration for graded discussions. Joining the Harmonize professional development trainer in this session will be fellow Yuba College faculty member Michael Larson to share his experience with the pilot and some strategies you might consider in using Harmonize in your online courses.
